Product Description

These fender flares are a Notch above the rest. Our W-Max WJ Fender Flares look natural on the Grand Cherokee WJ body, and provide your tires with tons of clearance. Here are some of the reasons you’re going to love them:

  • Durable 3/16″ fiberglass construction – hand laid with woven reinforcement
  • Arrives paint-ready (you’re not stuck with just black!)
  • All hardware included
  • Bolts are pre-attached to flare with fiberglass reinforced body filler
  • Detailed instructions for installation

If you’re reading this page, you probably already know that there aren’t that many options out there for WJ fender flares. But we wouldn’t want you to buy our flares because you’re settling. Oh no, the W-Max Flares have some serious advantages. First, let’s take the durability. These fiberglass fender flares are 1/4″, hand laid fiberglass with woven reinforcement, which means they’ll take a serious beating. Think about your buddy’s plastic pocket-style flares that he goes and “wacks bushes” with. Would you smash those with an 8 lb sledge? Would you take them of and drive over them? Would you stand on them and ride them down a flight of stairs like a surfboard? Well, we don’t recommend it, but we already did it for you. Check our our torture test video to the right, titled “Just How Tough?”

And as for clearance, you’ll cut out more room for bigger tires than any other major fender flares on the market. This is just about as much room as you can get on a Grand Cherokee. Want to run bigger tires, but don’t have the lift? Forget jecking your vehicle up higher. Instead, keep your center of gravity low and put a set of W-Max flares on, and you’ll be able to run some big tires without rubbing. And just check out the style! Every customer is excited about how tough their rig looks with these things.

NOTE: installation of this product requires some welding

If you’re gonna buy flares for a WJ then this is the way to go. They provide plenty of tire coverage while opening it up for maximum clearance. I’m sitting on 33s with a 4″ lift and love it. Not to mention they are constructed to take a real beating.

I recently installed a set of these on my 2001 WJ Limted and I could not be more satisfied with the results.

These flares are very strong (see the video non this site) and they are very well built. While I was intimidated by the installation at first, I found that it is very do-able for a garage mechanic. At the end, you have a very “beefy” looking WJ that makes room for larger tires and turns heads. I have a few friends that are very impressed with the way my WJ looks and are strongly considering these for their vehicle. I would absolutely recommend them.

I’ve had the flares installed since April of 2014 . I love the look of them ,they totally transform the look of the WJ. The flares themselves are built really well but body puddy is not ment to be used as glue. The bolts used were no even ground to promote adhesion. If they could come up with a better mounting system these would be “top notch” .expect body damage also as they are well built and do not give like their competitors flares. If your a mall crawler or wheel wide open spaces then these are for you. If you wheel in the woods or tight trails buyer beware. Every one of my flares at a minimum have atleast 2 mounting bolts broken and one was completely ripe off and one has a 6″ Crack in it
